About the Central Business District
Downtown Provo is growing and urban-dwellers are loving the new restaurants, shops, and shows in the Central Business District. The majority of this neighborhood is non-residential, making it the perfect place for residents that value “walkability” and a vibrant nightlife.
New mid-rise projects including the Wells Fargo building and the Zion’s Bank building combine business, retail, and residential apartments. On Center Street, visitors can take in a performance at the Covey Center for the Arts and choose from over a dozen unique restaurants. The public is also invited to check out Provo’s art scene by participating in the monthly gallery stroll.
Upcoming development plans include a new Hyatt hotel and a convention center.
