East Bay is a light industrial / commercial neighborhood with no residences. People who live in Provo love to come to East Bay to shop and work. The East Bay Business Center has a beautiful pathway throughout the center which will connect with the trailways going from State Street to the airport with the completion of the proposed connector road. This provides a place for people who work in East Bay to take leisurely walks or strenuous runs on their breaks. We have a wide variety of places to shop and eat. Some of the more unique stores include Quilted Bear with unique homemade gifts, Sweet Tooth Fairy with unbelievably rich and delicious cupcakes, special occasion cakes and other pastries, a furniture store, office supplies, and tire repair shops. East Bay is a destination location for Provo residents.
East Bay Neighborhood Meetings
East Bay Neighborhood Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of August and February of every year at noon, with lunch.
We invite Provo City officials to give us all the updates on plans for our neighborhood and the Provo City economic development in general, we often see the Mayor himself. We invite our neighborhood police officer and apprise him of concerns for the safety of those of visit our area. We take suggestions from the neighbors, which in the past have included: crime, graffiti, vagrant loitering, outdoor storage, traffic flow, ADA compliance, etc.
