During our council study meeting we received a presentation by Ray Beckham about a project he’s working on to help privately fund the construction of an outdoor ampitheatre-type performance location on 100W approximately in front of Sammy’s.
He has personally offered to donate $10,000 towards this effort and envisions that the outdoor performances will generate a huge increase in foot-traffic with similar growth to what has been seen in other outdoor attractions.
